Apprenticeships offer an excellent opportunity for new candidates to enter the construction industry and for employers to take advantage of grants that are available which help towards their training and development.
Working with local training providers, Think Local Construction is always searching for prospective employers eager to employ youngsters who are as eager to gain employment within the construction industry. The dedicated employment liaison officers work closely with employers ensuring that there is a smooth transition from recruiting to sustained employment. The aim being that the young person gains a recognised qualification, but more importantly is an added asset to its employer. Our specialist team will visit companies to assess their training needs and ensure that they are fully conversant with Health and Safety and Quality Standards before employing the trainees. |
